Surgi's is one of the largest air conditioning and heating companies in Louisiana. For 40 years Surgi's has been providing quality air conditioning and heating solutions to hundreds of thousands of customers.

We offer replacement systems as well as complete design and installation for new construction. We service what we sell with a highly trained group of service technicians available 7 days a week for your heating and air conditioning needs.

Surgi's is proud to be certified by The Trane Company as a Trane Comfort Specialist. This designation is awarded to the top 10% of Trane dealers nationally and indicates that Surgi's has met Trane's high standards for service and technical excellence. Surgi's is also a member of the Rheem Team. These designations establish Surgi's as New Orleans' premier heating and air conditioning company.

Surgi's was founded in 1964 by Wesley E. Surgi. In the period 1978-1981 Surgi's was the largest Trane dealer in the United States. Specializing in new construction, Mr. Surgi was instrumental in the building of the Metairie, Kenner, Slidell and Mandeville/Covington suburbs of New Orleans. During this period Surgi's was responsible for 80% of all new construction mechanical permits filed in Jefferson Parrish, LA.

In 1995, Surgi's changed ownership and is now owned by Craig Johnson. Mr. Johnson holds a Mechanical Contractors license for the State of Louisiana as well as all Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, St. John's and St. Charles Parrish licenses. He, his wife Debra and two children, Evan and Rachael live in the New Orleans area.

Surgi's has changed through the years. From our beginnings as a new construction company Surgi's has broadened its range of products and offerings to include service of all brands of heating and air conditioning equipment, replacement systems, certified duct design and system sizing as well as new construction and light commercial design and installation. Surgi's specializes in the most complex residential systems including homes exceeding 12,000 square feet. With our expertise and experience, we can solve any home comfort issue.

Our strength is in our satisfied customers. We're into the third generation of customers and they and their referrals are our largest source of new business.
